Mafia II

Mafia II is open world action game developed by 2k games. This game is basically GTA series that set on after Vietnam war. However Mafia II is much on story telling based game than GTA series.

I think Mafia II has well-plotted story telling. Because the main character's job is mafia, we can see another series of famous mafia movie, 'God father' in the game. However the situation that Mafia II's main protagonist Vito Scalletta faced on is different to Vito Coleone in God father series. In the game, Vito had no relationship with mafia before he was stealing some jewelry with his friend Joe for live. Also he starts from bottom of the group without any supporters. So player can feel how much Vito gets stronger chapter to chapter when they playing the game, which helps them to keeps their interest into the game.

Even this game is open world action game, there are not many things that player can do instead of driving car shoot to the other people. Also after story, player can not play in open world. So they need to start one of the chapter again. Because there are not many things players can actually do after they complete the story, the play time is shorter than any other open world game such as GTA, RDR, Final fantasy series. However during the game, the buildings and musics and graphics are so fitted into 1940's, so player can deeply enjoy their life 1940's New York.
I will give this game 9.9/10
