L.A. Noire

L.A. Noire is detective action adventure open world game made by Team Bondai and published by Rockstar games in 2011. Rockstar Game mostly developed and famous about crime game, such as Grand Theft Auto series (GTA), Red Dead Redemption (RDR) and Bully etc. However this game has very different characteristic compare to other Rockstar game, which you become cops who catch the criminals. This makes L.A. Noire much unique because, there are not many game that you play as good sides, because most of the game play as bad sides with some good inside. Also this game is much realistic than any other exaggerate Rockstar game, the detail on dead body of victim is much harder to see in the game. Also main case of this game is based on true story.

The gameplay of L.A. Noire divides into 2 main play style, one is detective mode and second one is arresting the criminal. First you receive some intel about the criminal and you check and visit all victims and witness who relate to this crime  and ask them about the detail of the case. During the interview you can choose questions from the some choices and you can guess who is lying or not and if you choose wrong questions and guess, this may leads to another ending of the game, which may be very crucial weakness of this game, because of one wrong button press, you need to start the chapter again. However if you gets enough intels successfully, you can now narrows the suspects and catch them by chasing them or crash into the homes etc. The events of catching criminal is limited so this is also weak part of game.

L.A. Noire also have many side missions like other Rockstar open world game. As it is detective game, when you driving the car you will receive a call from police station to catch the criminal who is running or solve simple case etc. These cases are all well made and increase your playtime extremely longer. Also because this game set on 1950-60, the car player drives are all classic cars, so if you like classic cars, L.A. Noire is much better game than GTA V.

- The control is very different to other games
- You cannot do bad things in the game
- Cars are too slow
- So detail victim corpse
