If you are new to the genre, it is only after playing this game that you realise the true-brutal nature of this sport. From the crowd's roars to the chilling thumps of hits connecting, the game and it's visuals are almost realistic. Boasting a beautiful but violent in-game environment., it takes the experience one level-up from it's predecessor.
Wether it be solo play or playing with a friend, the game caters to all audiences. Alongside a story line with it's 'career' mode, the game also offers the option to play against people online in a variety of different modes. EA strived efficiently in transforming the sport into a playable title.
The physics of the sport such as striking, grappling, submissions and taunts all translate gracefully. It can take time to get used to the gameplay for new comers but the game's training module teaches the player all tips and tricks to be the Ultimate Fighter.
Pros:
- Amazing graphics with fluid-smooth gameplay
- Fun to play with friends
- A large roster of playable characters
- Ability to accurately create your own UFC fighter
Cons:
- Career mode lacks length
- Ground game feature can ruin the fun
Overall, I would rate the game a 7/10.
