In this blog I will be reviewing World of Warcraft, a game that i'm sure that most of you guys would of already heard about. World of Warcraft is an MMORPG (massive multiplayer online role playing game) where you are placed in the world of Azeroth as a hero of your choice. World of Warcraft was released over 10 years ago and still manages to have a player base over 10 million. World of Warcraft has maintained its high reputation by realeasing many expansion packs to engage their fans over the many years. The expansions include:
2. Wrath of the Lich King
3. Cataclysm
4. Mists of pandaria
5. Warlords of Draenor and,
6. Leigon
There are two main factions in World of Warcraft, the alliance and the horde. The alliance and the horde are two opposing factions which have fought each other for hundreds of years and have witnessed much bloodshed. The classes of Hero's you can choose from include, paladin, warrior, monk, druid, priest, shaman, rouge, warlock, mage, demon hunter, hunter and death knight. Thats a lot of classes, each have their own unique abilities and story
You're probably thinking to yourself, what do you actually do in this game? EVERYTHING and ANYTHING. If you are engaged in the story of World of Warcraft, there are thousands of quests that give you further insight into the mysterious world of Azeroth. There is PVE (player verse environment), this involves all dungeons and raids which require a great amount of effort, strategy and coordination of your friends to defeat hard bosses which provide loot. There is PVP (player vs player) is the form of battlegrounds and on some servers, you can be killed anywhere by the opposing faction.
World of Warcraft is a worthwhile choice and has stood the test of time by still being the most popular MMORPG in the world for more than 10 years. I'd rate this game 8/10
Thank you for tuning in! See you in the next blog.
