OVERWATCH

Hello and Welcome!

In this blog I will be reviewing Overwatch, a recent hit in the gaming community. Overwatch is a team based FPS created by Blizzard Entertainment. Blizzard is known for making successful and enjoyable franchises such as World of Warcraft, Diablo, Starcraft and Hearthstone.

Here's a rundown of what Overwatch is about. You are split into two teams of 6, from here you can select from as many as 22 unique heroes which are categorized into different classes (offensive, defensive, tank, supportive). There are a range of cosmetic items you can acquire from drops to make your hero look as awesome as possible. There are a multitude of different maps and objectives ranging from push the payload to king of the hill and a combination of the two.

The good thing about Overwatch is that it caters for all play styles. If you're a really competitive person you will enjoy their ranked competitive play. If you're one of those people who just wants to play for fun then quick play is your choice. If you want to practice versing NPC's that option is also available to you. Or if you're one of those people who enjoys total chaos and mayhem, brawl mode will keep you busy.

With over 15 million players within months of its release, Overwatch is a game that fails to dissapoint. While writing this blog I was trying to find some negatives about the game but its quite hard! There's not an awful lot thats 'bad' about this game apart from the fact that its new and its still struggling with some balancing issues of the heroes. However with time this issue will be resolved. Overall i'd give him game a solid 9/10.

Thank you for tuning in!
